Hi! I’m Myrna.
A mental health advocate & blogger
I'm a twenty-year-old senior psychology student at Youngstown State University. Coming August 2022, I will be studying child and adolescent psychology at The Chicago School of Professional Psychology at Anaheim, CA to hopefully receive my Psy.D in Clinical Psychology

My passion for advocating for youth mental health stems from what I have seen first-hand to what can happen to an adult when they were not given the attention they needed as a child. To grow up with attachment issues because of abuse or neglect as a child is unfair. I have family, friends, and acquaintances who are unable to keep stable, happy relationships because of childhood trauma. These are pressing issues and they need to be talked about.

So how do we implement change in society? We speak up on behalf of those who cannot. We check in with them and include them in these processes so they feel like we are here to help them.

My Mission
I hope to educate, empower, and support families and society to better understand and care for the mental health of our successors.
